Hello, folks around the world... |

Welcome to my ham radio website. My name is Michael Seebald and my callsign is DH6BD. Here you will
find information about myself and my station. Have a nice time reading! In October 1995, I made my Class C licence (frequencies above 30 MHz), my callsign was DG1BDM. In February 1998, I upgraded my licence to Class 1 (highest class in Germany). I live in the northern part of Germany in a small village called Hepstedt, situated between the cities of Bremen and Hamburg, locator JO43MG. The area is very flat around here. Luckily, I live on a 25 meter high elevation, an exposed position for VHF. |

On shortwave, I prefer the 20 meters and 15 meters bands.Rig: • Transceiver: Icom IC 706 MK II • Transceiver: Yaesu FT-897 • 2-meter-PA: Tokyo Hy-Power HL-180V (170 watts output) Antennas: • 2 x 11-element yagi for 144 Mhz, 14m above ground • 3-element yagi (Mini 2000) for 10, 15 and 20m, height 13m above ground • 160m loop ( 2 x 80m twin-lead cable 450 ohm ) with SG-239 tuner - between 12 and 5m above ground • 1 x 14-element yagi for 430 Mhz |
